Caprica pilot (spoilers)

First Post
Since the new Caprica prequel series starts soon, I figured I'd start a new thread based on it.

We know that Caprica prequel is 58 years before the current time in the the new BSG series time. On the main themes of the series is that this happened before.

We also learned the final five cylons created the other humanoid cylons (skinjobs) a long time ago. Then depending on how much you paid attention or googled, the original metal cylons -- toasters -- (1980s or 2000 series) were created later.

In the Caprica prequel pilot, we learn the metal cylons were created by Daniel Graystone.

Am I missing something here? The human cylons were created first and the metal ones were later?

Actually, the first cyclons, the 13th colony, were robots who eventually evolved into human form which caused all the upheavals on Kobol. The final five were descendants from the 13th. Back on caprica, Greystone leads the techno evolution and creates the early version of cyclons, following the parallelism of the Kobol/13th/Caprica history.

The Greystone Cylons begin to evolve but hit a dead end, as indicated from the movie "Razor". They were only able to produce the hybrids. This is when the "Final five" show up and make their deal, ending the war, until the new Skin jobs take over. I am assuming that more of that will be revealed in "The Plan" movie, but I have yet to see it.

Then at the end of the series, with the Red stripes, it leaves the door open for another generation of Cylon evolution...

Its late, and if I think of anything else, I will post it... Hope this helps a bit.

I remember spending 2 days going to the Orpheum Theatre, which is the exact same location as the Kobol Opera House (the Theatre was the holding area for extras and catering, while the scenes were filmed in the lobby), working as an extra in the Holonet scenes. I need to watch the pilot again closely to see where I might appear.

Anyways, I think it's obvious where the Cylons got their religious beliefs from. And I think I have a pretty clear idea how it connects given the Caprica pilot, and all of BSG.
