Message: <blockquote data-quote="orbitalfreak" data-source="post: 1078822" data-attributes="member: 1669">Well, here's the backstory.  We (my mom, step-dad, me, my brother, and my 2.5 yr old sister) were all in the car, going for a little ride on Sunday night.  My sister is throwing a little fit because she's not ready to go back home yet, so we decide to take the long way back.  In a stretch of road with no human habitation, we see in the headlights four kittens, about two months old.  We knew immediately that they had been abandoned, since that stretch of road seems to be popular for dropping off unwanted animals.  We would know, having already gotten two puppies and two other cats there in previous years.All five of us are big softies at heart, decide that we can't leave the poor things in the middle of the road, so we get out to catch them.  Two of them immediately walked up to us, and were put in the car.  A third one took a bit of coaxing, but was picked up in a few minutes.  The fourth one, though, was a bit of a challenge.  She was very nervous and skittish.  We spent half an hour stomping through the woods and in the ditches trying to corral the little furball, but finally succeeded in catching her as well.We're keeping an eye out for any "Lost Kitten" signs in the area, but we don't expect to find any such notice.  Like I said, that's a popular "drop-off" point for animals around here... <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f641.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":(" title="Frown    :("  data-smilie="3"data-shortname=":(" />When we got home, we looked over them, and they seem to be in good health, though a bit thin from lack of nourishment.  Two of the cats look almost identical, brown and white.  The third is grey, and the fourth (the only female) is a black calico.  Since we had two "twins," another boy, and a girl, we decided on the following names:Fred & George, Ron, and Ginny!  Yes, the Weasley Kitties.  Can you tell we've all read Harry Potter? <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />Our Household's Total Animal Count:5 Cats, including the 4 new kittens4 Dogs2 Bull Calves1 Miniature Horse...
