Hi all,
Just sharing something we put together: a free 20 page Shadowdark mini dungeon called Shelter of Husks.
We're a tiny indie studio working on a hexcrawl adventure rooted in Eurasian, Anatolian, and Mesopotamian folk-horror. The full book is taking a while, so we cut the first dungeon out as a standalone teaser and made it free.
Some things you can find in it:
An 18-room underground sanctum that loops on itself. Six original monsters with bonds, pacts, and one that doesn't really die unless you know how. A ritual puzzle where the solution is hiding in plain sight if your players read carefully. A small NPC who carries more weight than his stat block suggests, with a choice that has wrecked a few of our playtest tables in the best way.
Dungeon map and all art is hand drawn, no AI.
