Other Superhero RPGs* City of Tomorrow OOC (DC/Blood of Heroes) {Game Started but accepting up to TWO others}

I have a bunch of old RPGs on my shelf collecting dust. In particular, I have been wanting to GM some old superhero ones.

Some examples

Villains & Vigilantes 2.0

Classic Marvel Superheroes (Advanced FASERIP)

DC Heroes aka Blood of Heroes (MEGS version)

Golden Heroes aka Squadron UK

If there is enough interest in a particular system I can start to peg down the details.

So, any Old School Heroes?

Game is on DC/Blood of Heroes was chosen!

I think one game using the FASERIP system is enough for me. V&V is yet another random hero game and I'm not into the randomly generated super. DC heroes might be interesting but my friend owned a copy, I never did. And I never heard of Golden Heroes. I love superhero games. But old school adds no value for me.

So would that be tentative interest in DC?

I would need access to the rules. Other than remembering Superman's strength was 50. And that stats are exponential. I remember nothing about the system.

Game came out pre-crisis. If there was a revision, I know nothing about it.
There are 3 editions of DC from Mayfair plus the Batman game which is a lite version(they also made Underground a non superhero game with a similar system). Then another company published the system under "Blood of Heroes" and came out with 2 editions, expanding the powers greatly...But with a really really bad gameworld.

I only seen the original boxset. What version would you be using?
I usually use the latest rules update.
Unlike D&D, DC and Marvel only really updated the rules and expanded them I stead of changing them. Blood of Heroes plays almost exactly the same as earlier versions with some options.

I should mention: or other modern Supers game: Bash, Icons, etc. When I find the time, I plan to try running a supers game. But they take so much longer to setup (mostly because of less experience running them live).

If the other Marvel game falls through, I'd be good with this. I just want to be really careful about adding more games right now, because the holdiays have put me behind on all the ones I'm already in.

I think it would be easier to determine interest (or disinterest) if you were concrete on the game system involved. The OP just lists a few possible game systems and there was some talk about them. Also the chargen method if the game has more than one.

I have V&V 2.0 (and the recent 3.0) and both versions of FASERIP on my shelf from the original list. But, as a prior attempt in these forums shows, I'm not really interested in a random superhero chargen. So that is my level of interest.

Well, he kind of broke off before because the initial interest was getting sucked up by the game that got pitched first, maybe.

I'd be interested in at least hearing what you have in mind, Hero4Hire.
