Class Acts - Ranger

Quite interesting control options, somewhat like the controller ranger people used to ask for. Is this what was left when they made the Seeker into a primal class?

Issue:

Warning Shot, The new at will power could potentially gain an unlimited number of secondary attacks. It is not a Reaction of any kind. Views?

I do think it needs an action type, and should be an immediate reaction. But as written, I don't think it gives multiple attacks because once you make a secondary attack, you are done with the power. There are no tertiary or further attacks, nor is there any indication that the secondary attack can be made multiple times. Regardless, a clarification and an action type is needed. Even if it's a free action, it should say so, otherwise, us dumb players who can't mind read the designer's intent just get confused.

It is pretty clear the power is not intended to give infinite attacks, but the wording could be clearer. And if it does indeed not offer infinite attacks, it is not a very impressive power next to Twin Strike - but what is?

These all-power articles have garnered less and less attention on the forums.

They must have changed it, because warning shot is an immediate reaction power now.

Overall, its a crappy at-will compared to...you guessed it...twin strike.

If the second attack did 2[W] + benefits I would use it. But twin strike gives me an immediate extra attack right off the bat and doesn't burn my immediate reaction.


On a positive note, I like archer's stairway.
