We did that with Voidrunner’s, excepting possibly the anime stuff.

That's fair! NO to me seems more...how shall I say...on the nose with its inspirations? Like, NO is a Sci Fi salad (all the individual ingredients are visible yet mixed together) and Voidrunner is more like a Sci Fi soup (Sci Fi tropes blended thoroughly enough that it is more of its own thing). Does that make sense?
