It certainly won't drive me from the hobby. But it will drive me away from WOTC. I don't think I'll be purchasing anymore books, minis, adventures, etc from WOTC.
Actually, I was thinking the other day. I posted this over on the WOTC boards too. Everytime I buy a gaming supply that is not WOTC, I will drop them an actual snail mail letter and tell them what I bought, how much I spent, and why I didn't buy a WOTC product instead. So they can quantify just how much they're losing because of their foolish decision. Maybe they will just throw it away and say "Just one guy." But I hope I can draw more people to do this - send a letter to WOTC to tell them why they bought another company's product over a WOTC one - perhaps this will make someone at that money grubbing corporation sit up and take notice.
