I've got a question about the "Power Surge" ability (pg.51 Complete Warrior) of a Kensai. If a kensai makes his concentration check, he gains +8 to his Strength for a number of rounds. My question is, since it appears to be an unnamed bonus (and those types of bonuses are supposed to stack), is a kensai able to use his Power Surge multiple times and stack +8's? That seems awfully good and I'm not sure that was intentional. I'll retype the ability in its entirety here.
Power Surge (Ex): At 2nd level, a kensai gains the ability to make a DC 15 Concentration check as a move action to focus his energy and spirit. If he succeeds, he gains a +8 to his Strength for a number of rounds equal to one-half of his class level. Each time after the first that a kensai successfully uses this ability in a single 24-hour period, the check DC increases by 5.
