Watched the video. Cool stuff, looking forward to what's coming for DDB, I'm especially keen on selecting sources for characters, but I may finally begin using Maps with all the improvements that it is getting.

I used to play D&D online, even before the pandemic. I had mixed feelings on it. Even during the pandemic, it felt more like being on a work call than playing a game.

Now, though, I am thinking of getting more into it and maybe running a game online. I do want to look at using the Beyond VTT as an experiment.

I feel that. I played online during pandemic out of necessity. I prefer to play in person using digital tools for character sheets.

The increasing QoL updates make me more interested in trying to occasionally DM one-shots online. Generally, I only DM in person because I'll get distracted and thrown off trying to fiddle with the VTT tools

I don't know if you can answer this one, but I'll try: Is 3rd edition the only one that will eventually get a SRD in CC or are other previous editions planned?
We're committed to reviewing all of them (and I understand there's some community debate about what that means, as I don't think 1e and 2e have SRDs the way we think of them, and 4e was an entirely different thing altogether), but as we get further along in that process, we'll provide more clarity.
