Pathfinder 1E Did most PF1e Players migrate to 2e or stick with 1e?

I have two players who are pretty averse to trying PF2E, so we're not going that way. We played PF 1E all the way up to the start of The Plague, and stopped because we didn't want to import 15th-level PF characters into Roll20 for all remote play, so we switched from finishing Iron Gods to starting Curse of Strahd. About 18 months ago, we decided to start PF1E again, this time in the Forgotten Realms, and we just finished the first part of a campaign that should take us from 1 to 20 and well into Mythic Levels set there, instead of on Golarion.

The only PF1 players I know personally have shifted to PF2. By the time PF1 came along, it was too much like D&D3 which I'd bailed on for multiple reasons, so I never played it myself. I'm modestly fond of PF2e, though its still in the D&D-adjacent sphere which isn't my favorite game model; the only other ones I have any tolerance for are 13th Age and the Shadows games.

For me, crunchy games have ceased to be interesting.
Sure. You can buff, take feats, have gear. Whatever. Ultimately, you're going to be facing monsters that deal level appropriate damage and not truly challenge anything because you have a 99% win rate.
And even if it was nail-biting engaging and you face death, you're still spending your night waiting 30-45 minutes between turns for like 3-4 hours. My time is more precious than that.
Didn't we have a whole thread about how and why this was an atypical.experience?

Without a virtual tabletop?

With. But its not a heavily integrated one, since we're using a mix of Hero Lab Online and Maptool; its probably a little faster, but I wouldn't say it would have been more than 20-30 without.

Most extra time taken in game turns in my experience has more to do with people who either don't know the mechanics of their characters (which a VTT only helps so much with) or can't make up their minds (which it doesn't help at all with).

The real key is our group is fairly decisive, and knows what we're dealing with in term of our character abilities, and the GM is extremely experienced with PF2e (he occasionally gets thrown off by Remastered changes, but most aren't that severe).
