The adventurers have reached a difficult part of their journey. Not only do they have to deal with the freezing temperatures, their bodies shivering endlessly, now they have to cross a frozen body of water.

And the ice doesn’t seem very stable. One wrong step and the next they know they could have icy cold water inside their lungs.

As such, they have to be very careful, and make no sudden movements. Too bad a battle is about to take place.

What is that sound? Is it coming from beneath the ice? Is it coming from the trees?

The adventurers stand at the ready, weapons drawn.

Magical crystals have appeared out of nowhere! Slowly they have started to expand all across the region. Slowly, but surely, this almost living material seems to want to consume everything around it.

The heroes have been sent to investigate and upon their arrival a group of elemental guardians begin to take shape before their eyes.

They attack, without asking questions, small shards of crystal flying everywhere where they strike. The adventurers were not expecting any of this, but they’ve overcome worse.

What are these crystals? From where did they come from? And what are its intentions?

The party has been adventuring all over the fairy realm. They heard whispers of a powerful magical item located in a secret cave.

Using their persuasion tactics, the group discovered the location of said cave: beneath a great waterfall, deep in the enchanted forest.

The heroes made their way there, willing to risk their lives once more for magical loot. Will they be able to find it?

It was a long night, but finally the party has tracked the werewolf to its den. With serious injuries, they bravely enter the cave, prepared to finally take down the beast that has been slaughtering the townsfolk one by one.

But unfortunately for them, they bit more than they can chew. For this cave is not home to just one, but a whole pack of werewolves.

They’re surrounded now, they think they will be torn to pieces in an instant. That is, until the biggest werewolf of the pack begins to talk, and makes them an offer they’re in no position to refuse.

No one knows what awaits them in the woods. Sometimes is just a peaceful trek where the only thing of note is that beautiful flower one finds where you’re least expecting it.

And other times, you cross unknowingly into territory you shouldn’t have.

Take for instance, this party of adventurers who inadvertently set foot in an area that was protected by a group of Dryads. The leader of the Dryads came forward and asked them for their oaths to aid the forest healing, for there having been unknown forces burning sacred shrines all over.

And refusal is not an option. For if they dare to utter a word of defiance, the Dryads will make sure to punish those who dare speak such blasphemies.
