Divine ranks of various entities from D&D

Hey Upper_Krust. I hope the God Rules book is going well.

I have a 3.5 immortals handbook question:
What is the divine rank of Ahriman? For those that don't know, Ahriman was one of the possible origin stories for Asmodeus, Ruler of the Nine Hells, who was a kind of cosmic serpent of law who fell into (or became, it's not entirely clear) the Nine Hells.
How about Ao (Forgotten Realms)?
And The Serpent? (Greykawk I believe, he turned Vecna into a greater deity if I remember correctly)

I know the Lady of Pain is associated with Aditi in these threads...

apologies for the slow reply buddy.

Although I with hindsight I would have done things a bit differently. But c'est la vie.

Good question and there is not one right answer.

In 3.5 Asmodeus is a fallen Seraphim Angel (Divine Rank 8 Old One in 3.5, DR 9 in 5e).

When the seraphim 'fell' it was wounded, split into two uneven parts (75% and 25% respectively).

The 25% became Telocvovim the Death Dragon (DR 5).

The main section (the massive spider-monster with 3 heads - classic De Plancy illustration) was DR 7 (Elder One).

It's Avatar is Asmodeus (Archduke/King of Hell). He is DR 5 Intermediate God.

I did a full 4e stst block of this on my Eternity Publishing website (I would post the direct link but I am answering this on my phone).

How about Ao (Forgotten Realms)?

As in 3.5e is going to be some stage of Demiurge. Not sure we have enough to pin point his rank from the lore though.

To turn someone into a Greater Deity you would need to be DR 8 yourself.

So that ties the Serpent to the Fallen Seraphim that became Asmodeus.

The Lady of Pain is the DR 7 Avatar of Aditi (DR 9).

I did my 5e stats for her in God Rules called Adrasta.
