DM Screen - updated for errata?

Do you know if what sells in the stores actually incorporates any of these changes yet? If I've got to tape corrections here and there, then I'd rather just make my own.

If this was a regular cardboard DM screen, I would be inclined to agree...

But given the extra-heavy-duty board the 4E screen is made of, I would suggest that you check it out. IMHO it is worth the purchase, even if you have to tape a small errata to it.

Hell no.

These things are so easy to make that the ONLY reason you would buy one is if they're of high enough quality to justify an expense.

Failing to update them puts them into the 'not worth the money' category.

As in about 95% of all cases I have to disagree with Kzach. Unless you don't use a DM screen ever, this one's worth buying.

If you look at the DM screen errata, you'll see, it's only the suggested DCs for skill challenges that have been 'corrected'. Unfortunately, this 'correction' turns skill challenges from 'too hard' into 'auto-success'.

Imho, you're better off using the old DC values and just ignore the footnote. I.e. you probably don't want to use the DM screen errata at all.

They've had over a year and a half to fix this and haven't. You're rewarding their slackness. Paying for something that is easily made at home should increase the requirement of that product to be outstanding and above whatever you could slap together yourself.

Unless of course you reward mediocrity. In that case, buy five.

How can you "easily make at home" a DM screen with the thickness of a hardbound cover?

As I said before, if this was regular glossy cardboard... sure, better make one yourself!

However, this screen has a much better quality than the usual...
