Do you have a preferred class that you play?

Do you tend to mix it up or do you stick with one or two different classes that you love? I tend to play support classes more than I do front line ones. I have played them in the past, but don't feel like they fit me that well. So most of the time I am either a Cleric (Which I feel I am great at because I am angry, and the best healers are always angry) or an Alchemist. That one is more thematic because I tend to play a crazy mute catfolk Alchemist who enjoys blowing things up. Plus the class is fun for me to play.

I don't play class based TTRPGs very often, but even without classes I always tend towards the "Knight in shining armor" trope and make characters to fulfill that kind of role.

In a class-based game, I usually gravitate towards a high-complexity caster, most especially the “gish” archetype.

Fighter. Although I'm having a lot of fun with a Cleric right now.

I tend towards martial artists. Monks in a fantasy game, Martial arts types in modern, super-chi martial artist in a supers game. Martial artsy Jedi type in SF.

I’m usually the forever GM, but on the rare occasion I can play I lean toward swashbuckling rogues.

Paladins on one hand, Barbarians on the other.

I seem to play a lot of rogues. They can do a lot and help make the others better.

I’m a mixer but I run a lot of bards.
