Do you want online PDF scenarios in Landscape or Portrait layout? This includes all RPG games (D&D, Warhammer Fantasy, Pathfinder, etc.)

Is it too much effort (i.e. time, money, manpower) to have both a printable Portrait and a viewable Landscape when a company puts out a product? What are the various companies LIKELY to do? Will companies be ridiculed if they don't fall in line? Does the size of the file matter to you? Will it alter your probable online play (e.g. with Maptools, Fantasy Grounds or Kloogewerks?)

Other thoughts along with the poll?

My guess is that companies will do either-or, but not both (especially wotc). I dont' think they'll want to spend one iota of $$ to satisfy both crowds..especially with wotc trying to push people either towards miniatures or online gaming.

My thoughts on printed landscape: it definatley fits on the table better for the DM and leaves more room for gaming.

It's not some quick process to lay out pages in both landscape and portrait, so I can't see that the extra money would be worth it.

I prefer portrait. It's what I'm used to, and I honestly find landscape to be distracting/annoying/just plain unnecessary, when I'm trying to read the thing.

Also, of course, for printing it is better. Well, IMO and IME.

LOVE landscape. I rarely print anything out and I game exclusively online. Landscape is FANTASTIC for reading on a screen.

I'm really liking the landscape format actually... Makes it easier to read on screen, as others have said, but also I tend to cut and paste what I need anyway so printing is whatever I need it to be. :D

I think the results will be important for companies to review. Some companies think they know best and some companies have focus groups, surveys and accept feedback. Hopefully companies are getting smarter (ahem, Lorraine Williams!)

Both is good. Landscape is good for reading through on my computer while portrait is good for printing. If both isn't an option, I prefer portrait because it wastes less paper.
