I really liked this episode. The more I see of the show, the more I prefer to see Sierra and Victor in action as opposed to Echo, mainly because Dichen Lachman and Enver Gjokaj are much better at acting than Eliza Dushku.

I was also pleased to see the show engage a little more explicitly with the subtext of the Dollhouse, specifically its analogy (though maybe I shouldn't use that word, since it's almost the same as, rather than analogous) to prostitution, sex trafficking and rape. Having Adele try to take the moral high ground and Topher develop the faintest bit of a conscience was interesting, amusing and very darkly ironic.

Great episode. And for the first time I'm really interested in Boyd's backstory.

That was easily one of the best episodes of the show thus far. I think Topher may actually be growing up a bit morally, more's the pity, since it probaby means he'll wind up taking a trip to the attic.

Best line: "Go out to the van. There's two containers of sulfuric acid, a plastic sheet, and a hack saw."

Second best line: "You always treat your toys very well."

Also, was Adelle touching Topher disturbingly intimately all episode, or was it just me?

Definitely one of the best episodes of the show. If they could put out this quality every week, the show wouldn't be treading water. Unfortunately, not showing it during November sweeps is pretty much the ultimate vote of no confidence by Fox. There's no way it's getting another reprieve.

I think both of these were subtle nods towards the events of Epitaph One.

Now I'm all curious as to what other "transgressions" (besides "Miss Lonelyheart") Adele has engaged in.

And that was so sweet, Victor sitting there and waiting for Sierra to get back.
