Dragon article format

I'm just curious if anyone else dislikes the landscape format they are using for the DDI PDFs. Its just a matter of personal preference, but I dislike reading things sideways. If these get compiled into print books later do you think they'll keep the same format?

For my monitor a standard A4 or letter format is better - looks nice with a 2 page spread up. Not a biggie, but I would wish they had a format that was more printer friendly than this.

Indeed, the layout, pictures, and colors look nice on a wide screen but not so much when I print them out.

I like it. Time to get with the times and make something shaped like a monitor. Yes, it looks odder printed out, but well worth it to be able to read a page without constant flipping up and down the screen. That is the main reason I do not buy pdfs, just too much of a pain to read.

I downloaded and printed out Heathen, and it looks fine. Landscape and all.

I printed out "Heathen" yesterday. I made sure to print it two-sided and with the back pages upside down. That way I can place it in a binder and flip the pages without shifting the binder, similar to a lap chart. This format works great at the table.

So I guess, I don't mind the landscape layout.

I really like the landscape format. It actually fits behind my DM screen better, and it's much, much better to read on screen.

I find it much the same either way with a widescreen monitor on a base that allows it to rotate to landscape or portrait. If I had to choose I'd stick with portrait.

For the most part, I plan on reading and using the DDI magazine articles from my computer, so the landscape format works perfectly for me (I will only print them on the occasionly, when I really need it). I hate reading .pdfs in letter format on my computer screen since I ususally have to scroll up and down just to do it.
