D&D players always want more high level support, and when they get it they immediately dog on it.

Seriously, lol. Seeing level 20 actually perks my interest.D&D players always want more high level support, and when they get it they immediately dog on it.

I’m running the last couple of chapters of Vecna now, and I’m seeing just how sketchy they are. Needed complete rewrites just to make them runnable.Okay, okay. I'm normally pessimistic and down on everything out of WotC. I'm impressed that they're attempting to go to Level 20. I know that the last time (Vecna: Eve of Ruin) it wasn't received positively. I'm hoping for better this time.
If it gets good reviews, I might pick it up to read out of curiosity. I don't run D&D anymore, but I can appreciate a good adventure to read for inspiration.
Hopefully you're able to salvage a good experience for your players.I’m running the last couple of chapters of Vecna now, and I’m seeing just how sketchy they are. Needed complete rewrites just to make them runnable.
You spend enough time here to know D&D players are not homogenous.D&D players always want more high level support, and when they get it they immediately dog on it.

It would probably be unsafe to speculate publicly.Who do you think is orchestrating the elimination of their evil rivals? Muahahahahaha!
the game at levels 12 - 20 is why campaigns die at 9...D&D players always want more high level support, and when they get it they immediately dog on it.

My guess is they'll be introduced like some of the factions from Book of Many Things like the Solar Bastion; an order of extraplanar spelljamming knights who don't belong to any one setting but have a justification for popping up wherever. So 9 more factions leave me curios as to how they plan on intergrating them into existing settings. I'm intrigued lore wise.
Whoop! Called it!I'm holding to my prediction that it will be a Tier 3/4 modules designed to be played after the ones in Adventures in Faerun. Tier 3 is when players are meant to start venturing out of their home region, so it would be a perfect continuation for a campaign regardless of which region they started in.
