Short and focussed is fine. But 10 levels and a whole country map sounds anything but focused.Im 100% ok with a shorter more focused adventure.
The adventure had a couple of good bits, but the last two chapters feel like they just gave up at the end.Hopefully you're able to salvage a good experience for your players.
Honestly, I've had more bad experiences than good with official 5E adventures.
Agree. The Red Wizards are one of the major big bads in the Forgotten Realms. Taking them on in Thay is the stuff high level campaigns are made of. If this was a low level adventure I'd be disappointed.
I guess that’s why I don’t find it interesting. It’s too bleeding obvious. I prefer a campaign with twists and surprises. The Red Wizards are one of the major big bads in the Forgotten Realms. Taking them on in Thay is the stuff high level campaigns are made of. If this was a low level adventure I'd be disappointed.
The low level version is against the Red Lizards of Thay. The Red Wizards are one of the major big bads in the Forgotten Realms. Taking them on in Thay is the stuff high level campaigns are made of. If this was a low level adventure I'd be disappointed.
Going to agree with @Paul FarquharThe Red Wizards are one of the major big bads in the Forgotten Realms. Taking them on in Thay is the stuff high level campaigns are made of. If this was a low level adventure I'd be disappointed.
