Dungeons & Dragons has announced plans to support various campaign settings with annual adventure products produced by third party publishers. Ravenloft, Eberron, and the Forgotten Realms will all be getting annual adventures or anthologies published in partnership between Wizards of the Coast and other RPG publishers. The goal of this new initiative is for popular campaign settings to receive annual "official" products while keeping the D&D design team free to design other products.
Three partnerships were initially announced as part of this program. Ghostfire Gaming will produce Ravenloft adventures, Visionary Production and Design (makers of Exploring Eberron) will produce Eberron products starting in 2028, and the Forgotten Realms will be stewarded by Kobold Press. The goal is for each partnership to produce one adventure or anthology per year. It was mentioned that the plan is to also find a partner to publish adventures set in the returning Dark Sun campaign setting.
These new products will be considered "official" Dungeons & Dragons' products and will receive both physical and digital releases. All three companies named in the initiative have partnered with Wizards of the Coast on D&D Beyond Marketplace products and it's safe to presume that we'll see the products hit the D&D Beyond marketplace as part of their releases.
