I thought that Inspired vessels needed to have at least as much charisma as a given quori to be possessed by it. But something in the very last sidebar of Secrets of Sarlona seems to indicate that I was mistaken:

"Though Riedra is full of willing humans, few have the spiritual strength (required Charisma) to contain a powerful quori, so most of these spirits can only manifest through Inspired vessels."

Question 1) Do empty vessels need boatloads of charisma or is that just strictly for vanilla humans?

Question 2) What does quori possession to do the CR of an Inspired?

Nevermind, I figured this out. The Inspired statblocks in Secrets of Sarlona have a little blip about what their stats are when not possessed, and their Cha is remarkably dump-statted. So it's just pureblood humans that need the wagonloads of Cha to be possessed. Also, it appears that most quori bump up their hosts' CR by 1 point.

On a related note, I realized that the shared skill ranks of Inspired mean they qualify for some prestige classes incredibly early. Muahahaaaa!
