In my opinion, the Gith are the survivors of another world destroyed by the daelkyr, and now live in Kythri and the Astral Plane; this fits with the assertion that Eberron is not the first world visited by the daelkyr, and maintains the Gith/Illithid emnity with a slightly different twist. The half-giants say Xen'drik to me; Xen'drik is home to the giants, the giants were involved in a war against the psionic quori, half-giants were bred by one of the two sides. As for the others, between Xen'drik, Khyber, Sarlona, and the Mournland, there's certainly room to come up with something if you want to use them.</blockquote>
