Elemental power source soon?

Just reading the new article on the wizards site, that groups magic schools spells together an in the header it mention a book Player options: heroes of the elemental chaos.

Could this give us the power source we crave!

Sadly, not really.

They appear to only be doing builds of existing classes and typing "elemental" after "arcane" or "primal" or "psionic" or whatever. That's not to say that they're going to be bad in any way shape or form, they're just not giving us anything unique enough to be its own class.

If it's any consolation, I've been trying to fill that gap. I hope to have a fully-playable, two-build, AEDU 1-30 elemental defender class done around mid-October, albeit in rough draft form: Whoops! Browser Settings Incompatible

Hopefully the book will at least be good enough to get more people craving elemental classes, so WotC will be more inclined to think some up.

Most likely.
Maybe 1 or two classes with the power source, but mostly adding the 'elemental' keyword to some powers of existing classes/builds.
