Thanks Arthur, and thank you all who have contributed previously! Just a note for those thinking of contributing- we can't pay you (since this is a free product), but we will offer compensation for those whose work(s) are used in the upcoming Hole print compilation on a payscale relative to the amount of work used. It's not going to be a big money-maker, but golly, it'll be the best comedic product ever released for d20, dagnabbit! I'll try to check in on this thread weekly, and am subscribing to it. As the deadline(s) approach, I'll be here more often. WRT art, I'm going to need a cover. I'm thinking classic Bride of Frankenstein type stuff, but with an elf (or orc?) with the crazy hairdo. There must be an orc, some pie, and some beer in the image, somehow. Working in a Dread Gazebo reference is a definite plus. I don't want cartoony for this cover, I'm thinking something along the quality of what Richard Pace delivered for Son of a Portable Hole, or Jolyon Minn's Flaming Poodlemancer, painted look. Yeah, I know it's a lot to ask for for free, but I'm sure someone out there has the goods to deliver! If you're thinking of submitting something, contact me before you put lots of time and effort into writing it up. We prefer an intelligent, dry humour, satirical style to outright puns, for example, and will not release any content that is not suitable for my kids to read (we're saving that for an X-rated book for later). Submissions must conform to the new d20 License, so mind yer Ps and Qs.
