O Little Town

Carter can't get into the Christmas spirit especially with the town surrounded by a force-field. Fargo organizes the GD holiday party, and Allison is full of holiday cheer.

Eureka had the better story, but I ended up liking Warehouse 13 better. It tied up some minor story points, Joshua and Claudia had great chemistry, and it opened with Pete and Myka breaking the fourth wall. My big complaint was the incredibly awful end to the Pete/Myka storyline - basically everything from when they identified the artifact onward. It was shockingly bad for a show that usually doesn't perform at that level.

Eureka was cute, but it was really a one-off. There were some nice touches - Jo not wanting to see Taggart, Fargo wanting to please everyone perfectly, and Kevin watching out for Jenna, to name a few off-hand. Jack and the kids was a decent set-up too. In the end though, the story just didn't feel satisfying to me, and I'm a little weary of "Jack comes to see Eureka as home" as a plot. Also, big gaping hole - no mention of Lexi. I may not have liked her character, but she deserved some mention.

I thought Warehouse 13 was just much better over all.

I agree with that, too. Plus, the entire Eureka episode takes place as a Jack-told story, so whatever is left out or included ostensibly says something about his character and what he thinks of others.

I really love both shows, so I enjoyed both Christmas episodes.

One thing that bothered me (slightly) about Warehouse 13: last we saw Myka,
she was walking away from her job at the Warehouse.
But I'm sure all will be explained when the next season of shows starts. B-)

I think the episode might just be a stand alone and not necessarily fall in line chronologically after that event.

this felt like a chritmas show that just happened to be set in Eureka.
(As opposed to a Eureka episode that was Christmas themed - if that makes any sense)...

maybe i'm being a grinch but i wasn't as entertained by the episode as i have been with some other Eureka episodes. But, as said, i couldn't really think of it was a Eureka episode to being with.
