To start, I love the expanded class options that have been releasing through the Gate Pass Gazette. The new Marshal perfectly illustrates why. I've seen Combat Directives be a topic of discussion often, and I feel it's too difficult to use effectively. The new options presented seem much more viable.
However, it does render Expanded Directives useless and leads to a feature loss at level 10/15. I also noticed this with the Ranger's Stride and Seek. If you choose not to take Hunter's Target, Hunter's Focus gives no improvement at level 9. But alternatives were presented in that article.
I haven't looked deep to see it any other similar conflicts exist. I was mostly wondering how, or if, anyone had ideas for work around. Or discuss if any are even necessary.
