Expressions you and a few other people use but aren't common

Okay, but it's about the most unhealthy food imaginable:

2kg frozen hashbrowns, cooked
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
500mg sour cream
1/4 cup butter
4 cups shredded cheddar
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix and spread in a large, rectangular casserole tray, then grate Romano cheese on top.
Cook at 400 for around 45 minutes, I guess? Until browned and crunchy on top.

Serves around a dozen. We always have a salad with it, out of shame.
Now THAT, as we say in Minnesota, is a hotdish!

Also, we have St. Lucia's day. Nowhere near as big as St. Patrick's day, and it isn't celebrated widely outside of those of Scandinavian heritage like St. Patrick's Day is by non-Irish, but it is something.

As far as I know, I'm the only person who regularly uses the word "unpretty" as a synonym for "terribad":

"Uncle Bob got drunk at the wedding and tried to show the "young-uns" how to "bust a move". It was... unpretty.

Also, y'know that moment when somebody says something truly idiotic or wildly inappropriate, and it's followed only by stunned silence and the sound of crickets in the distance?
When somebody is getting really annoying and shooting their mouth off, you interrupt them by actually saying "Cricket, cricket, dude"... (Usually followed by "Stfu!")

I can't really think of anything that is family specific but lots of examples that come from being in a mixed-language family and even regional differences in the US that cause confusion, but these are not family specific.

My wife still has not seen the movie, but she knows this line. She even uses it now, followed by "Dammit".

We have a RPG term "Stim Patches Heal" from a super late night/early morning Shadowrun game where we let stim patches heal damage because we were too tired to read the rules.

Basically when you have been playing for so long and everyone is so tired the DM just rolls with whatever.
We had one from the Synnibarr game where a character fell from Low Earth Orbit (well, Low Synnibarr Orbit) and we had to calculate the falling damage, finally worked out that per the rules with his damage resistance and HP he'd survive, and someone quipped "Only wusses burn up on re-entry." That got quoted for quite a while in contexts of a character being absurdly tough or surviving something ridiculous.

I don't have nearly as many of these in active use as I did in the 90s and 2000s when my friends and I traded movie quotes like folks do memes nowadays.

There is a classic from our LARPing days when a friend was NPCing as goblin, got captured and interrogated by the PCs, and had to check with a plot marshal (GM-type) to see what she would know. So they pause the action for her to get a quick briefing, and she returns, gets back into character/assumes the position tied against a tree, and explains, in her ridiculous nasal character voice, "BASIGLY... I'm a goblin." As the first line of explaining that they don't tell her diddly squat. This became shorthand for years thereafter in our friend circle, for "I have no idea/am a clueless peon/no one tells me anything." Ya gotta do the voice, though.

My family likes to use one at family dinner which is from the Aubrey/Maturin AKA Master & Commander books- "The bottle stands by you (sir or madam)", as a reminder to pass the wine because someone's glass is empty.
