Thanks your a Champ.

Ashardalon being in FR now called a God is very interesting. The suggestion in Yawning Portal for placing Sunless Citadel appears to be canon now. When did Ashardalon become a God?
Ashardalon Sunless Citadel
Well he has been trying to extend his life for a long time. I do wonder if he is a literal god or a "god" like Fizban's suggest other great wyrms are worshiped as gods.

I'm 99% sure Fizban's Treasury of Dragons names him as a Greatwyrm, and that same book basically explains that every dragon god other than Io, Bahamut, Tiamat and Sardior are greatwyrms

Yes, and greatwyrms have echoes across the multiverse, so Ashardalon can be in FR and Greyhawk and Mystara and Dragonlance and Homebrew XYZ all at the same time!

As for when he became a “god”, wasn’t that the plot of the last one or two adventures in the 3e series that Sunless Citadel began? (Don’t remember their names. I only have the first few.)

EDIT: the Bastion of Broken Souls!
