Favorite campaign that you NEVER played/ran.

We all have campaigns we have intended to run, or really wanted to play in, that either fizzled out or never materialized in the first place.

What is the campaign that you really wished you got to play or run? What went wrong? Is there a chance to do it yet, or has that ship sailed?

Probably the sequal campaign to my Claves post-apocalypse/cyberpunk/anime-ish mecha campaign using a mix of Mekton and Cyberpunk applied to a Fuzion chassis. Did pretty much all the work for it, then realized both groups I was running for had no-go players for it. Taught me not to do campaign prep before I had buy-in.

I played in a short lived War for the Crown AP in PF1. Started out promising but the GM took a lot of liberties and I'm not sure we were even playing it anymore after about 3rd level.

Id love to run this someday but im not likley to ever find a group. There was a local PF con here about a year ago and the silent auction had all 6 chapters in softback. I tried to bid but lost. Id pick up the PDFs but again im not sure it would ever hit the table :(

Over the years I wanted to always play Temple of Elemental Evil (ToEE) and never had the chance. Even the updated version of 2e and 3e looked cool and fun. We did play the 5e Elemental Evil book Prices of the Apocalypse (PotA) and that was ok to fine. I think now I am ok with not playing the original.

We tried playing Tomb of Horrors (ToH) a few times but kept dying before long and gave up on it.

Never played the Bloodstone Lands series as well and heard it was good.

A Dark Ages: Vampire chronicle where the PCs were very recent childer of a cabal of ancient 5th generation vampires planning an end run around conventional vampire politics. Chargen was great, and then I had one of my extended physical and mental slumps.
