Favorite coat of arms generator?

I'm looking to create a "realistic" coat of arms for an NPC, but don't want AI slop or something that doesn't communicate a message about the NPC in question.

Does anyone know a good generator or, barring that, toolkit to make a good coat of arms?

I would just steal one from some site of old heraldry from Europe someplace. Some might depend on how invested the players will become with this NPC. I hate spending time on something the players will just gloss over.

Usually how it works. Spend 2 hours creating some visual and the players don't care. But you take 15 seconds scrawling a few scribbles on scrap paper to get a point across, and that leaves them enthralled trying to figure out the hidden meaning in a stick figure.

This is why I always have a list of random names ready to go.

Major NPC who has a plot that can occupy the campaign for nine months? No one cares.

I know what you mean and have been there many times. We don't play very often anymore, so we aren't necessarily interested in total and complete immersion when we do. So, these days when I DM, if the players get hung up on meaningless details or NPC, I just tell them they are dwelling on something that has no bearing on the plot or the game, just to move the game along.

I really, really want a pub called the actual "[Redacted] Arms" now. And it has a cool coat of arms but it's blacked out. It's where all the government censors hang out and grab lunch between marking up documents.
