Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

My wife is out of town, so you know what that means! Me and Gilman are going to party!

This is the largest model I’ve ever worked on and the most airbrushing I’ve done for a single project. These are just the base colors. I’m running into some issues with the brush clogging. I hat I suspect is happening is paint is clumping or sediments are forming because the clogging happens after I’ve been painting for a while and then it all clears up after a few more minutes. I’m thinking of adding a filtering step to my paint mixing.

Next step will be the claws, and oil wash, and once everything is dry I'll use a regular brush for the eyes. I used Badger paints for the first time and the greens were Gremlin Green, Pestelince Flesh, and Fresh Grass darkned or lightened a bit with other colors.
What will do with the base and the name plate?

It's fun to learn new things. Oil paint can take up to six months to fully cure. It'll feel dry to the touch after about two days, and should be safe for some light touching, but it could take months to be completely finished curing. I used a wash, so it's not going to take six months, but it'll be a while before I can varnish it. So I'll finish applying the wash this week and wait until Christmas to varnish, paint the eyes, and complete the base.
