D&D 5E (2024) Fly and carrying

NB: just noticed that the fly spell no longer slow drops people to the ground when it ends. How did I miss that! Brutal if you fail that concentration check.

Why not cast Fly on the fighter (assuming the fighter has a higher Str than the wizard), and just have them carry the other party members?

Because that avoids the question not answering it.

Probably not, just get badly bruised. But it will be fun to see.

If you fall to 0 hp while concentrating on fly, you immediately fall. When you hit the ground, you immediately take one failed death save (but not two because the ground can’t score a critical hit)

It’s potentially quite scary.

A Grappled target is Moveable provided it doesn't outweight your Carrying Capacity which determine the maximum weight in pounds that you can carry, drag, lift or push.
