Places by the Way returns to the Forgotten Realms! Places by the Way #2: The Bitch Queen's Prize takes your party to a jagged reef just outside Waterdeep. The owner of the cargo, aware that a dangerous and unpredictable (by definition) band of kuo-toa claims the wreck site as part of their territory, hires you to retrieve an item of particular value to her. However, you also run into some devotees of Umberlee who also seem to know about the object of your quest. Thus, you learn the hard way that the goddess known as the Bitch Queen has also claimed this wrecked ship as her prize.

The Bitch Queen's Prize can serve as a stand-alone module, or you can use it as the first part of a two-part adventure. It provides a segue to Places by the Way #3: Storm Under the Moonshaes, which Ramen Sandwich Press will publish early this fall.

Places by the Way is a series of short modules created by veteran RPG writer and developer Douglas Sun for use with Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. Think of them as glittering mosaic tiles that you can drop into a campaign to provide your player characters with diverting side quests and memorable interludes while they follow the overall story arc. After all, a great campaign world is one in which memorable experiences can be had even in places found by the way.

The Bitch Queen's Prize is available in PDF exclusively through Dungeon Masters Guild. It sells for $2.99. Keep up with the latest from Ramen Sandwich Press at our website.

Forgotten Realms: Storm Under the Moonshaes now available!

For those of you who have been waiting for the sequel to The Bitch Queen's Prize, you can stop holding your breath! Places by the Way #3: Storm Under the Moonshaes is now available through Dungeon Masters Guild for $2.99.

Storm Under the Moonshaes takes heroes of Faerun to the Island Kingdoms, specifically the island of Alaron in the Moonshae Islands. The village of Oyster Cove occupies an obscure spot on the coast, far from the capital of Caer Gallidyr. It seems an unlikely place for a fanatical cult of Umberlee followers to make their headquarters — but that's exactly why they chose it, and they're about to overturn the lives of the fisherfolk who live there.

Storm Under the Moonshaes can also be run as a stand-alone.
