D&D 5E (2024) Forgotten Realms: Monsters of Faerûn now available!

What is the estimate on a time frame for print on demand, and will you announce it here in this thread when it's ready?
Hard to say really, there's some work left to do with my print editor to get the files ready and then it's the proofing process which from experience with my previous title that went to PoD on DMsGuild (Mulhorand Campaign Guide) consists of a lot of back and forth with the printer. I'd be happy if it was ready by the end of summer. Also hoping to release on VTTs (Roll20, FG, Foundry) though that will depend on how well the book is received.

Will certainly let everyone know when it's ready yes and any feedback on the PDF during this early access period will go a long way to making the printed version as good as it can be!

Yes, it is. There were some I didn't recognize but I haven't played 5.x in quite a while and haven't kept up on Realms lore like I used to in probably 10 years, so I'm not surprised.
All the monsters are new to 5e/5.5 (from official sources at least), with many updated from earlier editions such as the 3e Monsters of Faerûn, and a lot of others are either brand new or from other media such as the Baldur's Gate games that haven't had rules before :)

I have so many monster books (Kobold Press, Monster Manual Expanded, Tome of Beasts, etc etc,) that I would be curious to know how many of the monsters in this book already have a 5e version.

Sadly, it would take me too long to compare.

Thats what I thought that it was a mix of updates from earlier editions and some new creatures.

I can confidently say there are no official (WotC release) versions as it was my intention to provide 'new' monsters rather than just updating stat blocks from 5e 2014 to 2024. For other 3rd party releases I'm not sure either as I don't own them all and they're not available online like the official ones are.

Also, on another forum people were asking what the playable species were (I couldn't fit them on the contents page) so here's the bookmarks from the PDF:
