Thanks for the heads up. A bunch of free maps will be nice even if I never get the module.

The handouts are cool as well. Not to mention very old school, as Goodman Games is known for.

I'm curious about the PDF release; it struck me as the last thing I would ever buy as PDF. Yeah, let's spend $60 bucks (at e23) instead of $100 and get the pleasure of printing it out myself, including the poster map, which will eat through a color ink cartridge and look absolutely *smashing* self-printed. :D

Seriously, I suppose that some might buy it as PDF for the pieces, or if they really have gone so digital that they could use it at the table as PDF. Is there anyone here who would buy this thing as PDF instead of paper?

Yeah, I wouldn't buy this as a PDF, but I have read the reasons why some would/have, but I don't run my games that way, plus with these free PDF's being made available FREE there is absolutely no reason for me to want it in PDF.

The only way I would buy the PDF of this one would be if it was priced under $20.00, which I don't see Joe G. ever doing.

I have stopped buying print rpg products. I have a ton and no more shelf space for new ones. All my RPG purchases are now pdfs. ~95% of my gaming is done over the internet now. I love search and copy and paste and use that for games all the time.

I don't expect to buy Whiterock though. $36 for Ptolus and similar for WotBS subscription are the most I've spent on any pdfs.

I'm not even considering WLD on pdf because in addition to the huge price tag, AEG does not provide a fully electronic document, but just a scan. The other AEG pdf I have did a very poor scan and I can't copy and paste from it.

Rappan Athuk and City of Brass are tempting as well, but their huge price tags means I have hundreds of other lower priced products I'd rather get instead.
