Shadowdark Free Shadowdark Adventures

[Sandbox Plots]

Earlier this year I started writing on Lukamorya, a setting for Shadowdark inspired by Slavic folklore. I cleaned up some small location based adventures and published them on Itch and DrivethruRPG.

I had a brief look at these. The art and maps are really strong for this kind of product. I'd recommend working on your layout, which is comparatively less professional. People like Affinity Layout, which is free. You might try making one of your layouts looking more similar to the official shadowdark material and see if that works. Then, on the writing, as a GM I would like more advice on how to get the players involved/rumors that could lead them to the site. For the fortress adventure there is a clock and the kid is there, but no indication of why the PCs would seek it out or what they would hear.

I do really like the future section, which makes it easy for the GM to decide how to progress things.

Thanks for your effort to respond so thoroughly! I am dabbling in Affinity already, but I need time to develop my skills. The Shadowdark layout is available for use but I am not a fan. Great point about the hooks, I need to include some.
