D&D General Fun/humorous ways to leave your group

So, I was bored one session. The DM was pounding on us pretty hard and we barely lived.

This was a sci-fi/fantasy mashup, so I threatened to take my "lightsaber" and run it through the engine of my "atomic steed". Thank you, Marvel! Anyway, the DM said it would cause an explosion that would take out the entire ship we were on.

While I didn't care if my character died and another friend didn't care, I considered how the other players would feel. I decided not to ruin their fun.

Still, for one shining moment, I enjoyed the thought of going out in a blaze of glory.

"Guys, I have a confession. I'm actually an alien from a distant star system and inspired by your "Star Wars" documentary we have been scouting for recruits for our own rebel fleet. However after a review of your tactics we have decided to continue our search, particularly after the Gazebo incident. Don't call us, we'll call you."

Muttering just loud enough for them to hear as I get up to leave "How can anyone confuse a gazebo with a Glabrezu."
