Gaming and life in Denver, Colorado?

First Post
There's a decent chance that I'll be moving to Denver, Colorado, in the very near future (work-related, short notice).

I've been to Colorado several times (and loved it!), but never Denver specifically. Can anyone fill me in a bit on what the city's like -- in general, and in terms of gaming, FLGSs and the like?

Any info at all will be very much appreciated. :)

I'll give this one bump before I let it slide into oblivion.

If not Denver, how about opinions on gaming and life in Colorado in general, or perhaps in areas near Denver?

Denver and the Front Range have a fairly decent gaming community. For FLGS's try Attactix, Black and Read, Valhalla... (those are just the ones of the top of my head).

I've been too busy to get terribly involved beyond my local circle, but I agree with Fate. Valhalla's is a great place with a massive gaming area (and a good crowd, the few times I've been there). I've only been to Attactix once, but I was impressed. And Black & Red is a good place with an excellent selection of used games.

There are certainly gamers in the area!

There is an active thread over at RPG.net about this very topic. Just follow this link.

There's some good stuff in that thread -- thanks, Geoff! :)

And thank you to everyone else, as well. :) I still don't know if I'll be moving, and I'm definitely still interested in hearing more about Denver.
