Dragotha is a Great Wyrm, isn't he? He's billed as Tiamat's consort and the original Dracolich.

Of the MM true Dragons, only those refered to as "Greater Dragons" get up to size Colossal... before Epic advancement. Gold, Silver(?), and Red. The other 7 only get up to size Gargantuan. Only.

According to Dragotha's statblock in Dungeon 136, he is a Male wyrm red dragon dracolich with a gargantuan undead (fire) size/type.

Thanks for the pointer on the McFarlane one, we will see when we get closer to Dragotha. Unless someone discounts the WoTC one I will likely get one of those McFarlane ones.
