thankfully I haven't seen here the sentiment that Disney should have just released the PT and OG star wars movies based on what the current tech for media is and nothing else.

Like 4k, then wait till the next standard...release the 6 movies...wait and so on.

Iam cautiously optimistic about Starfighter.

Despite what it may seem like, I love Star Wars. I want Star Wars to be good. And when it is, there's nothing better. And I am often forgiving: I like both Obi-Wan and Acolyte, even as I see the flaws.

But bad Star Wars makes me sad.

Also, Maul: Shadow Lord is Peak Star Wars.

Yeah, I just want to see some good films and series. And they can make them, I’m sure. Sometimes they’ll make some duds. But I don’t care about those, let’s just move on.

I was pretty happy with Kenobi but its only problem was the way it had to be chained to canon. Let the past die.

I would be in for a re-edit and re-issue of Rogue 1 that takes Andor into account.

Yes! If nothing else, I would like a new edit that acknowledges that Andor is married and is expecting to go reunite with his wife (up to the point where he realizes he’ll never get off Scarif alive).

Mandalorian & Grogu is just a good movie. The second best Star Wars film since Return of the Jedi.

Just being a good movie doesn’t get people into the cinema.

We can only hope. They have to at least try to move beyond the sequels at some point.

Unless you have someone strong enough to impose a clear vision for where the galaxy is going, you will just get a mess of competing ideas and repetition.

What Disney should have done is immediately jumped to the Old Republic, so the galaxy has a known form, but there is plenty of room for new adventures. But it's too late now, Star Wars movies are dead, and Starfighter will hammer the stake through it's heart.

Its pretty clear at the end of Andor that no one expecting to do any reuniting.
