I don't wanna start a whole argument, but I legitimately view double-bladed weapons the same way I view chainmail bikinis. They're stupid and unrealistic, but if I wanted realism I'd join a fencing club or take up kendo.

I saw in youtube a video about a master of fencing and antique swordsmanship explaining double-weapons could be practical in combat but unconfortable to carry.
