Can a ghost character, whose base creature is a cleric/sorcerer/wizard/druid or any other spellcasting class, use those spells? or when it becames a ghost it loses this ability?

It sort of looks like they retain spell casting, but I'm not sure. Could they cast spells with their ghostly material components? Where would they get more?

the character i have in mind is a cleric.....

as stated in the MM a ghost has all its equipments, plus 2d4 personal itens.... what if one of these itens is the HS, needed as a Divine Focus....

Would he been anle to cast spells?

Well, the MM description of a ghost's manifesting special ability says that a spellcasting ghost's spells affect those on the material plane when manifested except for touch spells. This strongly implies that a ghost does not lose the spellcasting ability he possessed in life. The mechanics of it, I have not thought about too much yet.

If he runs out of spell components and gets desperate, he can always arrange to have someone destroy him... when he reconstitutes, he should have the same pouch full of components he had when he was first killed...

I believe unlike other incorporial creatures, ghosts accualy exist on the etheral plane, though they can also manifest themselves into the material. It's not impossible that they might be able to get components somewhere within the etheral.

I can see it now, an entire ethereal economy based around the need for ghost wizards to get more spell components....

It would be a moot point if the Ghost could get his hands on the Eschew Components feat. If not, he might be able to get his hands on some Ghost Touch equipment. Maybe a pair of gloves with Mage Hand at will (that'd cost 1100 gp per Savage Species). Assuming the Ghost had a bag capable of holding things, he could put his components in it, and get them from the real world. If not, then get a Ghost Touch bag as well.
