Here at GRHQ we've been keeping ourselves busy in the lead up to GAMA Trade Show. The Avatar's Handbook is just back from the printer and looks gorgeous. Big thumbs up for James Ryman's cover. Since the release of Legions of Hell, a lot of folks have asked when we'd do something similar for the good guys. Well, this is it! The avatar is a new core class, a servant of the Heavenly Host that can summon celestials and take on angelic form. To support the class, the book presents 25 new celestials, 7 additional creatures from the Upper Planes (can you say Living Flamestrike?), and even two archangels. Hammer & Helm author and Dragon magazine editor Jesse Decker did a great job, ably assisted by his Dragon cohort Chris Thomasson. The Avatar's Handbook ships to distributors on Friday, as does the Mutants & Masterminds GM Screen. This four panel screen is just lovely, another killer graphics presentation by Sean Glenn. Both of those items should start showing up in stores next weekend. Speaking of Mutants & Masterminds, we've just posted the FAQ and Errata over at the website (www.greenronin.com) and announced Time of Crisis, the first M&M adventure (due in April). We approved the proofs of Freedom City yesterday, so that should be shipping by month's end as well. Bastards & Bloodlines: A Guidebook to Halfbreeds is also at the printer now. Oh, this is a fun one. Owen Stephens outdid himself, creating a huge number of new halfbreed races (half dwarf/half roper? half drow/half mind flayer? yeah, baby!), as well a dozen new crossbreed templates, new bloodline feats, and new spells to boot. If you didn't think Savage Species went far enough, you'll love Bastards & Bloodlines. If you can't wait for that, remember that Pocket Magica and Denizens of Freeport are in stores now. Happy gaming!
