GRAAAHH!!! [semi-rant/brief]

You know what the problem is with the sheer quantity of prestige classes out there?

It's not that there's too much choice.

It's not that they're somehow diluting the game.

It's that it's become bloody well impossible to come up with decent names when you're assigned to write more of the freakin' things!!!

Ahem.

Okay, I'm a bit better now.

;) What do you need ? This forum is a world full of ideas. There is always someone with an inspiration. :)

You know, I'd love to take advantage of that. But to do so, I'd have to reveal what I'm writing about, and then WotC would curse me unto the 12th generation for violating my NDA. :heh:

Perhaps we should start a thread of Prestige Classes haven't yet been written about.

Ward Robe - A arcane spellcaster that can enchant his robes to give better protective abilites, and also disguise himself as furniture.

The Immortals - A special fighter/bodyguard organisation using magic/drugs to become fearless and competent defenders. (OK, that' nothing truly new but I haven't seen it as a PrC yet.)

I haven't seen a good Arcane Caster/Ranger hybred class of some kind. Not a lot of good Paladin PrCs or Bard PrCs either.

But yes, names are getting scarce, especialy when some names are a bit deceptive.

I'm surprised that WotC hasn't recycled every level "title" from AD&D1. Including the optional Bard level titles, there'd be at least a hundred potential prestige class names to choose from! :)

And, of couse, they should update the AD&D2 kits and change 'em all into prestige classes. Take their names, and poof! At least another 50.

(BTW, I am soooooo waiting for a PrC to represent the old Blade kit for Bards. It would make a keen Fighter/Bard PrC.)

There arn't many Cleric prestige classes unless you are Lawful or Lawful Good (at lot seem to have this as an unnecessery requirement).

Just post a question along the lines "give me 10 divine PrClass titles" or some other vague somesuch.

Or e-mail the question to me. :)

Was it Shadowrun that had a class like that called a Juicer??

I can't quite remember.
