Greater Magic Weapon cast by a good Cleric

It mentions that if a good Cleric, Cleric of a good deity, or a Paladin cast Greater Magic Weapon, that weapon is also considered blessed. What exactly are the rules for a blessed weapon? Is this the same as casting the spell Bless Weapon on a weapon, or are there some other bless effects at work here?

It's just a label that other effects can refer to. Specifically, some monsters have DR or regeneration that is specifically defeated by holy or blessed weapon. Magic weapon spells from good divine casters count.
