Green steel from Baator?

Didn't WotC publish rules for baatorian green steel for 3.0/3.5 somewhere?
I have been looking everywhere, but I cannot find it. Did I just dream about it? (Or was it a hellish nightmare?)

Thank you! There it is, excellent. (Did I not look in that book approximately three times already without finding it?)

(Well, uh, it would have been excellent had the rules been a little more exciting. ;) That was pretty boring, +1 enhancement bonus to damage, not stacking with magical enhancements. A +1 green steel dagger is just like any other +1 dagger.)

It's all in how you sell it...

When I ran Planescape many years ago, I had a player who played a 'dwarf' fighter/psion who had a psionic accident that gave him stone-like flesh; I let him forego the magical item I was giving each character in exchange for natural armor. Part of the flavor was that he had to eat stone and metal.

Anyway, he started buying metal scraps from a merchant, who started selling him special 'planar' metal that the merchant promised would harden his skin. What he didn't know was that the merchant was actaully a succubus and the metal was Baatorian green steel, so although it was hardening his skin (and turning him green) it was also slowly turning him evil. Unfortunately, the campaign didn't last long enough for anyone to notice (including the player).

So, yes, mechanically its not that exciting. But just add a creature with DR x/green steel, and see whether the players are willing to make a (literal) devil's just to gain an advantage against a foe.

Little flavor things like that are amusing. For instance I'll allow silver weapons to penetrate the DR of any yugoloth, regardless of enchantment, similar in some ways to silver on Baatezu, and cold iron on Tanar'ri. I've also used an Abyssal variant of Baatorian Green Steel, plus other plane specific materials. Flavor is fun, and it contributes to the game's atmosphere.

And it's always fun to see a PC attempt to pay a yugoloth entirely in silver for a purchase from them. *chuckle*
