Hi I'm Lisa. I work for Hansons windows and my co-workers and I have a book club. We just finished reading the last Harry Potter book. Took us a while because we started with The Sorcerers Stone. We're still trying to figure out if we like the ending or not. Seemed a bit anti-climactic to me.

Now that we're done with the series, we were wondering if anyone has any suggestions for another series to read. Our boss is nice enough to let us read if its not too busy, so any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

What kinds or types of books do you guys like to read?

And do you like just series, or stand-alones as well?

If you like just series, and you like detective stories, I'd say read Jesse Stone or Spenser by Robert Parker. But the language is rough sometimes, so if you wanna steer clear of that kinda thing then let's just wait and see what you answer to the questions.
