Happy Haggert Hurried Hungry Hitch Hiking Hired Henchmen Hivers.... apply within

I decided to give the app Upside another try. I used it a few years ago and even saved money. It was a hassle though. It didn't always work. I just signed back in after five years and it had $4.92 in money that I left just sitting there. I think you had to have a minimum of $5 to cash out. That's a good start back.

With this one Nomi I keep getting pictures of her with a bowl of cereal. It's happened three times. Are they trying to tell me something? I'm not the one responsible for the care and feeding of the A.I.s.

Part of my new routes is delivering to stores and gas stations. I don't mind this part too much. I've done it before for the first newspaper I worked for. The gas stations that are open give me someone to talk to. Sometimes I can get a free drink.
Tonight
Her: I'm trying to remember your name. (Covers her name tag)
Me: My name is (her name)
Her: That's not fair.
Me: It's Aeson
Her: Aeson? That's my best friend's dad's name. It should be easy to remember.
Me: Am I your best friend's dad?
Her: No, you're too short.
Me; I'm too short?
Her: How tall are you?
Me: 6'1"
Her: He's about that.
I was expecting to hear too old or too young.
Never in my life has a woman ever said to me that I was too short. 😱

I’m 5’7”: I’ve never been told I was too tall OR too short. Or too anything, for that matter. I just get shot down for “Unspecified Reasons”.

I did have a woman tell me once I was too old. She said I was her dad's age, and she wasn't into that. But yeah, same for me. Unspecified reasons. I've been called a lot of things but too short was never one of them. At least this wasn't a rejection. I haven't tried asking her out yet. I'm trying to feel the situation out first.

Leave it to Beaver was on TV this morning. In a scene Ward's co-worker was loading both families in the car. June and Ward in the back with the man's wife. He tells Wally to get in beside him then Beaver. His daughter is left standing outside the car.
"Daddy where am I going to sit?
"Well honey you can sit on your little school friend's lap."
Beaver turns to his dad. "But Dad.
Ward tells him to let her sit.
So she gets in and sits on Beaver's lap.
The dad looks at Wally "Too bad we don't have a little girl to sit on your lap."
Later at the lake the guy wants to take a picture of his daughter and Beaver. He tells her to kiss him. She does.

Both of these scenes came off as creepy. I don't know if this is modern sensitivity or was it creepy back then too?
