I'm so pale I probably do glow in the dark.

Actually, you do.

Human beings are bioluminescent - but the light we emit is so weak it would need to be 10,000 times stronger for us to be able to see it with our own eyes...
Also, randomly, you have stripes as well.

Welp, it's official - tied the record temp for today at 101F. Yay, us. (Fortunately, only 46% humidity.)

I was aware of the hanky code but I didn't know what the colors stood for. I really wish I hadn't looked it up. I did learn that it's also called flagging. I know of another group that flags, street gangs. I think if they knew about the hanky code they would change their minds on flagging. Most people know about Bloods (red), and Crips(blue). Fewer know of Gangster Disciples(grey). They don't know there are factions within the larger organizations that use different shades of the colors. It's gotta be confusing to those in the scene looking for some strange.

Here's the strange places my mind goes when I'm left alone with my thoughts.
I had heard there was an organized gang of trans sex workers. It can't find any information on it. But while thinking about it I thought, this gang flagging has to be REALLY confusing.

The dog is fond of rolling around on dead things. I called out to him to get his attention. He came running up to me. As he approached I said there's a reason why I call you "Stinky". He got up close wanting me to pet him. I said I'm not going to pet you after rolled around on something that died. So he went over and nudge the door open and went in the house. I followed because it's freakin hot 🥵 outside.

I think that’s a bit of a dog thing. We didn’t get much deceased wildlife in our yard or see much on our walks. But our dogs would at least try if they could get close.

I read that it is a thing but they're not exactly sure why. One reason could be that they really like the smell. Another is they're doing it to mask their own scent.

I have a hammer and I'm doing hammer stuff with said hammer. The dog says "Hark, I hear a knock'n. That means someone is at the door."
Dog enters bark mode. BARK! BARK! BARK!
I'm like "Shaddap. No one's talk'n to ya"
Dog exits bark mode.

Because of the holiday I had a short night at work. I didn't really want to go home but I didn't really have anywhere else to go. Waffle House or Whataburger. Anywhere I went I would have to spend money. So I'm at home watching the Twilight Zone.
