This is going to sound weird. My mom brews a pot of Maxwell House coffee and to me it smells like canned tuna. I have to go with canned because I don't know what fresh tuna smells like. I will often wake up to the smell. It's really strong. I've never smelled fish this strongly. She says it smells like coffee to her. I use a Keurig and make one cup at a time. It doesn't smell as strong and smells like coffee to me. Even though she'll brew it at different times I'll often be asleep when she does. It's an oddity of how I sleep. I think it might be my not yet awake brain confusing smells?

You may also be more sensitive to certain smells, like trace elements from the canning process in the food getting volatile due to heating.

It's that the coffee seems to smell like tuna to me that's strange. I don't have a problem with canned tuna. I just used it as a reference because I can't compare it to fresh tuna.

I listened to a piece on a podcast about practice dates. Apparently gen Z are swiping right on less attractive or people they wouldn't have any interest in to go on a practice date with. They focused on how sad it was that Gen Z are so socially inept they feel the need to practice before going on a date with someone they actually have interest in. Someone more attractive. I kinda like the concept of a practice date. One thing I didn't hear about at all, how does the other person feel about being just practice. I would be destroyed if I found out I was that person. That's worse than finding out they're dating you to get revenge on someone. I think practice could be a good idea if both parties are aware and consenting. No concern for the feelings of the "lesser" person.

I watched Airwolf: The Movie today. I can't remember the last time I watched it. A made for TV movie that introduced Airwolf. I believe it holds up. Of course it's dated, but it was a solid movie. Next I'm starting on the series. The show was a lot of fun when I was a kid.

I read a rumor that they're possibly working on a shared universe with Knight Rider, which is getting a movie on Peacock, Airwolf, and The Six Million Dollar Man. Both of which might make cameos in the Knight Rider movie. When I had cable I got Peacock for free. This could get me to sign up for a month to check it out.

Anyone else have a parent that consistently installs an app that hijacks their display? Of course not your parents probably have iPhones that don't do that 💩. It seems like every couple of months or so I have to go through and figure out which one it was and uninstall it. Luckily things revert back to normal. I hope no lasting problems persist.

We’re pretty much an Apple family. But trust me, we have our own tech dramas.
